This customised course provides a comprehensive pathway to develop competency in the inspection and maintenance of electrical installations in hazardous areas. It begins with essential safety awareness (Unit 001), building a strong understanding of explosive atmospheres, before progressing into practical inspection and maintenance skills covered in Units 004, 007, and 008.

IECEx CoPC Certificate issued by Exert Certification AS, Norway (valid for 5 years)
Entry requirements
Relevant electrical/instrumentation experience of 3 years, with basic knowledge of explosion protection and Ex equipment.
Competence in this unit shall be assessed either concurrently with or after Unit Ex 001 – Principles of protection in explosive atmospheres knowledge

The IECEx CoPC Scheme is a global certification system that assesses and certifies the competence of individuals working in hazardous (explosive) atmospheres.
